Herb Denenberg, columnist for The Bulletin, passed away at his home this evening of an apparent heart attack. Mr.Denenberg had been an investigative and consumer reporter and columnist for over 35 years. Before that he served as Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commissioner, and the Loman Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Sheikh Mohammed Sayed Tantawi, Sunni Islam’s most senior religious leader, died March 10 during a visit to Saudi Arabia. Mr. Tantawi, who succumbed to a heart attack after falling while boarding his return flight, was 82.
